Plus, you will get hands-on experience at Schenectady Day Nursery, where you will learn how to work with children of all abilities and learn from real-world situations. This microcredential exceeds the professional development hours required to earn the international Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. You will earn a minimum of 195 hours of professional development that can be applied toward requirements for the Infant Toddler CDA, the Preschool CDA, and the Family Child Care CDA. Successful completion of this microcredential prepares you for continued study and to immediately apply for jobs as preschool teacher, infant/toddler teacher, childcare worker, teacher's assistant and more.
