Gain these essential skills and more with this Hotel, Resort and Hospitality Microcredential! Depending on your prior level of work experience, you will gain the skills necessary to manage and market or assist with the management and marketing of a hotel, resort or tourism operation. You will understand common fiscal and operational priorities, know how to motivate employees to success, study and apply skills in consumer behavior, build leadership and management skills, and understand the essential role of marketing and social media. You will earn two nationally recognized certifications in Hootsuite, a social media dashboard system. You will receive a Pathways Up for Success in Hospitality (PUSH) badge through METRIX, an online platform used by Warren County Employment and Training Administration for customer service professionalism. You will also receive necessary training in Narcan administration, New York State Sexual Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation prevention training.
