What you'll learn

Educate with Earth science excellence through this online microcredential that is tailored for in-service teachers. This microcredential is designed to support teachers with completing required coursework toward their supplemental certification in Earth science in New York State. You will be able to complete 13-14 credits of coursework at one institution, and then have five years to continue to accumulate 18 credit hours (formally 30 credit hours) to become permanently certified. Successful completion of this microcredential fulfills part of the education requirements for supplemental earth science certification.
