This Systems Support Microcredential provides you with essential skills in computer repair, operating systems, applications, desktop administration, and networking fundamentals. Through hands-on coursework, you will gain expertise in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring operating systems, deploying and managing software applications, administering and configuring desktop systems within networked environments, and understanding networking concepts and protocols. You will build and repair computers, learn how to use common administrative tools like Active Directory and PowerShell, build simple LAN topologies, and utilize diagnostic tools and strategies to identify and fix common issues. Importantly, this microcredential prepares you to sit for two nationally recognized industry certification exams, the CompTIA A+ and the Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate Exam.
