Through engaging activities, written documentation, and active participation in an early education seminar, you will cultivate the essential skills and competencies needed to thrive. You will gain real-world experience through a minimum of 225 hours of supervised work. With this microcredential, you also have the option to prepare for a CDA (Childhood Development Associate) application, enhancing your career prospects. Approved by the Council for Professional Recognition in Early Childhood Education and based on core competency standards, successful completion of this microcredential opens doors to continued study and to immediately apply for positions as a an aide or assistant in preschool or daycare settings.
