This Construction Scheduling microcredential provides you with hands-on experience using common industry formulas and related tools. You will begin with a focus on materials and process, so that you understand the sustainability, and time constraints, related to different construction materials and methods. You will gain essential skills for the construction supervisor role, including best practices for managing labor, time, resources, equipment and budget. You will gain the ability to do Critical Path Method (CPM) calculations and schedules, ensuring that you have good estimates for how long a project will take so that you can budget accordingly. You will use common industry software and be able to apply Lean Last Planner System fundamentals. Successful completion of this microcredential prepares you for continued study and readies those currently in the field to apply for supervisory or estimator positions. This microcredential can also be a great fit for those who are starting or already have their own construction business. Note: This is one of three related microcredentials; completion of one reduces the number of courses required to complete the others.
