You will gain experience in recording, editing and manipulating sound while exploring cutting-edge technologies like AI and machine learning in music production. You will begin with two sound recording and production courses and then have the opportunity to customize the microcredential, choosing from different options for the third course to best suit your interests- composition lessons, a music internship, or an independent study in sound recording and production (credit variations in option selected will impact tuition). Importantly, all students will create a polished recording or original work for their final project. Successful completion of this microcredential prepares you for continued study, provides specialized skills to existing professionals and readies those new to the field to apply for music producer positions.
