Through a combination of theory and hands-on laboratory sessions, you will develop a foundational understanding of the analytical techniques employed in the rapidly evolving cannabis industry. You will be able to assess the chemical composition, quality, safety, and potency of cannabis products. You will build basic skills in sample preparation, chromatographic separation, spectroscopic analysis and mass spectrometry while considering regulatory and ethical practices. Successful completion of this microcredential prepares you for continued study and readies you to apply for roles involving quality control, product development, or research within the cannabis sector.
