With the increase in access to data, computing power technologies, and improved algorithms, there is a societal surge in artificial intelligence (AI) innovations across business, nonprofit, and government sectors. With this primer on artificial intelligence, you will gain skills and knowledge about AI including its history, technical terminology, and key concepts underlying intelligent computer systems today. You will discover the latest generation of artificial intelligence technology applications, as well as learn the AI principles, tools, and algorithms to effectively use in various contexts and perform hands-on activities in the basics of AI and machine learning.
