This CNC Machinist Part 2 microcredential is the fifth in the Machining series and focuses on manufacturing quality control, and production tooling design for use on CNC Mills and Lathes. You will learn and use industry standard Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, industry standard measuring tools, CMM's, and Optical comparators to ensure parts meet specification. You will also learn and be able to design jigs and fixtures for safe and productive work-holding. Successful completion of this microcredential readies all to continue their education, to the Machine Tool A.A.S. degree, and to immediately for CNC Programmer, CNC Machinist/Operator, and Manufacturing Engineering positions.
