What you'll learn
This Personal Success microcredential centers on essential skills needed in life and career; particularly for those with an eye toward careers in business, marketing, management and/or sales. You will learn the 5C Elements for Self-Management: communication, choice, caring, commitment, and coping. The 5Cs are designed to provide you with tools valuable to both your academic and career journey, working in and managing teams, building trust, decision making, navigating and recovering from challenges, and committing to new opportunities. You will then study personal finance, gaining essential skills for your own fiscal health that are relevant to your understanding of how today's businesses function: from budgeting and savings to income taxes, credit, insurance, investing, and retirement planning. Credits earned in this microcredential can be applied toward completing SUNY Broome's Business: Marketing, Management and Sales associate degree.
