What you'll learn
Gain essential skills in the art of Tattooing with this innovative microcredential. You will gain in-demand skills in design and drawing, while perfecting your tattooing technique. All students take the same first three courses, then have the opportunity for an internship or to take a course in entrepreneurship to support growing your own tattoo business/chair. Successful completion of this Tattooing microcredential readies you to continue your education in the Fine Arts degree program and also results in a professional portfolio suitable for an apprenticeship or client work, as a tattoo shop assistant or junior artist. Note: Federal OSHA regulations require Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) training for all occupational exposures to blood. Training courses may be found at the New York Bloodborne Pathogens Training website at: https://courseforbbp.com/states/NY
