What you'll learn

Campaign for a better future through this Campaigning & Community Advocacy microcredential where you will gain an understanding of social justice and advocacy campaigns that drive so much of the non-profit sector. You will develop an understanding of both national and international social movements while engaging in advocacy and activism, developing relevant skills in organization performance, advocacy, ethical standards and conduct, and effecting social change. You will then examine key management concepts used to manage common challenges encountered across social change efforts in domestic and/or global environments. Finally, you will study leadership paradigms and contingency leadership models. Successful completion of this microcredential adds specialized skills for program and organizational leaders leaders in non-profit organizations to help advance their advocacy work.
