What you'll learn

This Drone Operations: Mapping and Logistics microcredential is designed to build on the skills learned in either the Drone Surveying or Foundations of Drone Operations & Compliance microcredentials (see links below). This microcredential is for those who have already passed their FAA Part 107 and TRUST exams, taking a deeper dive into mapping technologies and workflow. You will learn GPS, GIS, LiDAR, and photogrammetry that drive Uncrewed Aircraft Systems within various industries. You will gain in-demand skills in flight planning, data acquisition, processing, and analysis to conduct more sophisticated and in-demand mapping and surveying. Successful completion of this microcredential readies all to continue their studies and provides existing professionals in construction, MET or HVAC with in-demand specialized skills.
