This HVAC Technician Foundational Skills III microcredential is the third in a series and builds on the advanced HVAC knowledge and technical skills developed in HVAC II, with a focus on heating systems, duct design, and automated controls. All courses are taught in person at the Mechatronics Lab at DCC's Center of Excellence for Business, Industry, and Innovation in Fishkill, where you'll work with the same tools and technologies used by HVAC professionals. You will deepen your competencies in HVAC system installation, controls integration, diagnostics, and system design, preparing you for advanced roles in the HVAC field. Successful completion of this microcredential supports continued study and advancement into positions focused on system controls, troubleshooting, and integrated HVAC system design. To enroll in HVAC III, you must have successfully completed the HVAC II microcredential.
