The Community Mental Health Worker (CMHW) Program is a comprehensive program that follows the wellness and recovery model in mental health. Its curriculum is specifically designed to train diverse young adults and community members to make their careers in mental health and social services. This program is five months long, with two credit courses, HMS 200 AND HMS 205, with six additional certifications and internship. After completing the certification successfully, students can get into Sociology or Psychology associate degree or Case Management Certification.
The estimated cost listed is tuition only. Books, fees, and other expenses are not included and cannot be covered by Part-Time TAP for Non-Degree Programs.
