This Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Studies microcredential provides you with the opportunity to complete sustained inquiry into the Holocaust, genocide, and human rights. You will study the geographic, historical, literary, and psychological contexts of genocide and human rights. The curriculum is foundational in advancing an understanding and application of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accountability. Successful completion of this microcredential provides deep knowledge and skills. You will be able to recognize the necessary preconditions for genocide and human rights violations, make connections between past and present events, apply critical thinking skills to issues of global relevance, and utilize your knowledge to become advocates for human rights. Credits earned in this microcredential are applicable to several associate degrees as described below.
