The Preschool Professional Studies microcredential is designed to prepare you for immediate employment in an early childhood preschool setting. This sequence of four early childhood classes was carefully selected to emphasize professional practices based on child development theories and align with the Council for Professional Recognition CDA Preschool Subject Areas. Once you gain the necessary hours of work experience, you will be ready to apply for your CDA certification. Successful completion of this microcredential prepares all for continued study and readies you to immediately apply for positions in a preschool setting. It is a also great fit for recent hires, providing necessary education for certification.
Credits earned in the completion of this microcredential can be applied toward completion of a related certificate or degree program. It is a building block that gives you a jump start to education and career success.
