Take your culinary skills to the next level with this Culinary and Baking Fundamentals II microcredential, the second in a two-microcredential series! With an ongoing focus on food safety and sanitation, you will study, practice and execute full menus from appetizers to desserts with a focus on applications of meat, fish, and shellfish; bakeshop techniques for dessert and pastry; and creation of artisanal and specialty breads. You will apply what you have learned in a hands-on internship, gaining invaluable real-world experience. Successful completion of this microcredential prepares all students to continue their studies and readies you to apply for advanced kitchen and baking staff positions such as line cook, junior sous chef, and junior pastry chef.
