NYS Sports Officiating
What you'll learn
This New York State Sports Officiating microcredential provides you with the skills and knowledge you need to officiate with the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA). You will learn the fundamental definitions, rules, and mechanics of sports officiating. Consistent with NYSPHSAA, you will use the RefReps Officiating Education System (learn.refreps.com) to prepare for specific sports of interest. This microcredential is based on the best practices of the National Federation, RefRep and the NYSPHSAA, readying you to step onto the field or court with confidence. Successful completion of this microcredential, including passage of the RefRep sport-specific assessments, readies you to immediately apply for officiating positions.
