The Home Health Aide certificate program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to successfully pursue a career in home healthcare, focusing on basic duties, procedures, and responsibilities; the need for effective communication; awareness of safety precautions, and the needs associated with caring for specific populations. A certificate of completion is issued through the New York State Home Care Worker Registry (HCWR). This program of study consists of 75 hours of instruction with supervised clinical experience.
The estimated cost listed is tuition only. Books, fees, and other expenses are not included and cannot be covered by Part-Time TAP for Non-Degree Programs.
