Community Health Workers (CHW) are a vital link to promoting health and wellness throughout communities and to lowering healthcare costs. Credentialed CHWs act as part of a healthcare team within hospitals, public health and social service agencies and other community support organizations. The course is divided in four academic units (96 hours) followed by a field experience (108 hours).
The estimated cost listed is tuition only. Books, fees, and other expenses are not included and cannot be covered by Part-Time TAP for Non-Degree Programs.
