Medical Assistants play an essential role in medical offices assisting physicians and other health professionals with patient care and office management. They are the first person patients see when they walk in the door and responsible for creating a positive experience for patients. The program is 36 weeks long and includes lessons in medical office skills, medical terminology, specimen collection, electrocardiogram training, phlebotomy, CPR certification, and laboratory testing.
The estimated cost listed is tuition only. Books, fees, and other expenses are not included and cannot be covered by Part-Time TAP for Non-Degree Programs.
