The Community Health Worker (CHW) Program is a comprehensive program that follows the wellness and recovery model in health. Its curriculum is designed to train diverse young adults and community members to make their careers in community health and social services. This program is four months long, with two credit courses, HMS 117 and HMS 205, with five additional certifications and an internship. After completing the certification successfully, students can get into Sociology with or associate degree or Case Management Certification.
The estimated cost listed is tuition only. Books, fees, and other expenses are not included and cannot be covered by Part-Time TAP for Non-Degree Programs.
