Our OASAS-approved 350-hour program is designed to give students the educational skills they'll need to enter the field of addiction services/substance use treatment. There are 5 modules students must complete which will span a one-year timeframe if they pursue the modules in the recommended format (2 modules in the fall and spring semester, and 1 module in the summer semester). Each module follows state-mandated hour requirements. Upon completion of the 5 modules, students are eligible for a CASAC-T certification and up to 9 credits that live within the A.S. degree in Human Services or the academic certificate program in Chemical Dependency Counseling.
The estimated cost listed is tuition only. Books, fees, and other expenses are not included and cannot be covered by Part-Time TAP for Non-Degree Programs.
