Importantly, you will gain essential communication skills allowing you to accurately report your findings. You will be prepared to take the American Concrete Institute CP-1 Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I Certification exam. This microcredential was developed in partnership with SJB Empire Geoservices and the City of Ithaca. Successful completion of this microcredential prepares you for continued study and to immediately apply for entry-level positions such as testing technician, geotechnical or construction materials testing technician, field testing technician or laboratory testing technician.
