Enter the dynamic world of software development with this specialized microcredential! This microcredential is designed to give you both foundational and specialized skills. You will explore data modeling methods, including stacks, queues, linked lists, and tree structures. You will be able to create accurate and complete software designs using structured and object-oriented methods. Using these designs, you will create programs using industry-relevant computer programming languages. While the current languages are C++ and Java, course content is taught in ways that are applicable to most modern languages. You will leverage object-oriented programming to create and reuse code, supporting maintainability. Successful completion of this microcredential prepares you for continued study, internships, and to immediately apply for entry or junior level positions like junior software developer, software quality assurance tester, technology support specialist, even game developer.
