What you'll learn

Assemble, test, troubleshoot and repair electronic products on the line with the Applied Electronics for Manufacturing Assemblers microcredential! This is the first in a two-microcredential series designed to prepare you for entry to junior level technician and assistant positions in manufacturing across a wide range of industries. You will be able to understand and apply electrical quantities and related measurement. You will gain hands on experience with DC and AC circuits, magnetism and basic instrumentation and electrical power. You will know how to use electrical and mechanical equipment and instrumentation. You will also construct a CAD generated circuit board. Successful completion of this microcredential prepares you for continued study, apprenticeship and to immediately apply for entry-level electrical or electronics technician positions, working under an experienced supervisor. Completion of the Applied Electronics for Manufacturing Technicians microcredential is recommended.
