Set your sights on a career in New York's growing clean energy field! This Clean Energy Technology microcredential provides earners with highly sought-after skills and hands-on experience using the latest tools and equipment to help you understand solar, wind, geothermal, atomic power, biofuels and more. You will understand electro-mechanical systems and how these systems are controlled. You will learn how to interpret specifications and codes, acquire and analyze system data and calibrate input/output devices. You will also gain practical experience interfacing with mechatronic systems for basic control and alarm systems and electrochemical models for batteries. Successful completion of this microcredential prepares you to hit the ground running in entry-level positions across the clean energy field including solar installer or battery technician.
