Support your advancement as a New York State teaching assistant through the Phase I Childhood Education microcredential! The first in a two-microcredential series, Phase I consists of a sequence of courses designed to create a pathway for current and future teaching assistants to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to advance across the three teaching assistant certification levels designated by New York State. Prospective candidates will map education, classroom experience and education together to navigate all three levels. If you have been working in a classroom or have dreamed of doing so, this microcredential series could be a perfect fit for you! Successful completion of this microcredential prepares you for continued study with the Phase II microcredential.
