2022 Productivity Enhancement Program (PEP)

The Productivity Enhancement Program (PEP) for 2022 allows eligible employees to exchange previously accrued annual leave (vacation) for a credit to be applied toward their employee share of NYSHIP premiums on a biweekly basis. In no case can the credit available through the program be applied to the employer share of NYSHIP premiums.

Eligible full-time employees who enroll in PEP for the 2022 plan year will forfeit annual leave at the time of enrollment in return for a credit to be applied toward the employee share of their NYSHIP premiums, in accordance with the PEP guidelines for their employment group (e.g., UUP, CSEA, M/C). Eligible part-time employees who enroll in PEP will forfeit annual leave in accordance with the PEP guidelines for their employment group.

The enrollment period for the 2022 PEP program runs from Monday, November 1, 2021 through Monday, November 29, 2021.
