SUNY Human Resources
SUNY employs over 50,000 employees at its 29 state-operated campuses. This website was designed to make current policies and procedures available to provide opportunities for employees to excel in the performance of their duties and responsibilities, and for personal and professional growth and development.
University-wide Human Resources provides support for administration and support of Human Resource operations in the following areas:
- Advising campuses regarding policies of OSC, DOB, OER, Civil Service and NYS Joint Commission on Public Ethics
- Administer and maintain an integrated Human Resources Information System (SUNY HR) that includes position, person, employment and payroll information for all SUNY employees
- Administer and maintain a SUNY Time and Attendance System
- Serve as liaison between SUNY campuses and State agencies for HR and Payroll related issues
- Provide campus guidance on all HR and payroll related issues
- Liaison between SUNY campuses and State agencies for administering University-wide benefits programs
- Maintaining and updating the employees position and title system
- Providing extensive University-wide data information and analysis
- Providing campus based reports and analysis
