Dr. Christopher D. Hromalik is the Project Manager of the Universal Design for Learning at SUNY project, funded by the Enhancing Supports and Services for Students with Disabilities for Postsecondary Success from the Office of University Life at SUNY System Administration. This project seeks to provide training in the UDL framework to all SUNY faculty. He is also an Assistant Professor of Spanish and Distance Learning Instruction and Design in the Modern Languages and Literatures Department at SUNY Oswego.

Jeremy Jungbluth (he/his/him) is the Accreditation and Assessment Project Manager at the University at Buffalo's School of Dental Medicine (SDM). He works directly with SDM to support their accreditation requirements, as well as with instructors to support them with their assessment practices. In addition to these responsibilities, he collaborates with faculty, students, university departments and community agencies to develop equitable and inclusive pedagogical strategies to build compassionate, rigorous, and supportive learning environments. Jeremy has advanced degrees in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Illinois at Chicago and in Bilingual, ESL, and Multicultural Education from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Previous to his current position, he was the Learning Designer of Inclusive Pedagogy at UB's Office of Curriculum, Assessment and Teaching Transformation. Jeremy was an adult education English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) instructor in Massachusetts for numerous years. Most recently in a grant-funded community program in Springfield, MA. He has appreciated, loved and valued learning from, listening to, and teaching his students. Each of their stories further instilled the strength education has for growth, opportunity and emotional, mental, and social well-being.  While not supporting instructors, Jeremy enjoys time exploring and going on adventures with his wife and three young children.

Allison Moreland
Associate Director of Digital Accessibility, SUNY Empire State University

Allison Moreland is the Associate Director of Digital Accessibility at SUNY Empire State University. She consults with faculty and staff to ensure that online courses and resources are accessible. She oversees the electronic information technology accessibility (EITA) policy and activities, including the procurement of accessible information technology. She assesses online courses for alignment with University standards and accessibility. Previously, she held various instructional designer and educational technologist positions in higher education and corporate organizations. She has been an adjunct instructor teaching courses in using technology in education and digital literacy. She also serves as the university's EITA officer.

Ms. Moreland has a Master of Science degree in Instructional Design for Online Learning from Capella University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from SUNY Brockport State. Her 20 plus years of work experience include development of competency models as well as curriculum and instructional design in higher education and corporate training. She has consulted with a variety of clients including, National Technical Institute for the Deaf, Verizon, Frito Lay, PepsiCo, Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., FedEx, and many others.

Ms. Moreland is interested in incorporating elements of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) into SUNY Empire's online curriculum to accommodate for differences in student abilities and preferences. elevating learning for all students. She has studied UDL since joining SUNY Empire in 2015.

Director of Resources for Students with Disabilities

Lauren P. Rodriguez, Psy.D. is the Director of Resources for Students with Disabilities in the Office of University Life at SUNY System Administration, providing overall leadership to support students with disabilities across the SUNY System and guiding campuses in adopting best practices in the mitigation of barriers to access for disabled students in all institutional programs, services, and activities. She also assists in developing programs and policies to support equity for students with disabilities. Dr. Rodriguez also serves as the Director of the SUNY Universal Design for Learning for project. She is a school psychologist and licensed psychologist in New York.

Meghan Martin, CPACC is a Program Coordinator with the SUNY Center for Professional Development (CPD). She has been working with the UDL Initiative for almost 2 years, providing support and assisting with the curation of the various UDL offerings being offered through the initiative to SUNY faculty/staff. She recently obtained her CPACC (Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies) certification demonstrating her commitment to accessibility-driven best practices and efforts. Alongside her work, she is currently attending Syracuse University in pursuit of her Masters’ degree in Instructional Design, Development, & Evaluation. A theorist at heart, her favorite topics include; learning theories and instructional theories. Her undergraduate degree(s) come from SUNY Brockport with a B.A. in Political Science, International Relations, and a B.S. in Women & Gender Studies accompanied with two minors in Spanish and Communications.
