Universal Design for Learning at SUNY
The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) at SUNY project seeks to provide support for SUNY to be a model of excellence of inclusive pedagogy in higher education by training SUNY faculty and instructional designers in the Universal Design for Learning framework.
The UDL at SUNY project began in August 2021. Since then, it has hosted close to 40 different events across a variety of delivery methods. From those events, more than 630 SUNY faculty, staff, instructional designers and administrators have taken part in UDL professional development. In addition, more than 1,000 SUNY members have attended webinars in our Access for All Webinar Series. Furthermore, in the spring 2023 semester, the UDL at SUNY project hosted on-campus workshops at six campuses across the SUNY system, training over 150 SUNY faculty and staff on basic principles and best practices for UDL.
We encourage you to register for at least one of the many professional development opportunities provided by this project.
