Dr. Jaime Castillo serves as the Director of Counseling Services at SUNY Geneseo, bringing 16 years of expertise as a clinician, educator, and leader. His career spans both higher education and non-profit sectors, where he has consistently supported young adults in navigating the challenges of college life and early adulthood. Before joining SUNY Geneseo, Dr. Castillo held positions at RIT’s Counseling and Psychological Services, including Staff Embedded Therapist, and Interim Training Director. He also served as the Manager of Clinical Services at Hillside Family of Agencies and Assistant Professor of Counseling at Alfred University.
At Geneseo, Dr. Castillo emphasizes a compassionate and flexible approach to leadership and clinical supervision, fostering an environment where both students and clinicians alike feel encouraged to express their true selves. Dr. Castillo is committed to wellbeing and ensuring all members of the campus community take steps to care of self and others.
Outside his directorship, he contributes to the academic field as a researcher and as an Adjunct Professor of Counseling and Counselor Education at Alfred University and St. Bonaventure University.
Dr. Castillo is a First Generation American, his mother and father immigrated to the United States as adolescents from Cuba and Colombia, respectively. He feels deeply grateful for the risks his family has taken over generations to build better, stronger lives for their families and future generations.
Dr. Castillo'’s educational journey includes a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Penn State University, a Master's in School Counseling from the University of Scranton, and a Doctorate in Counseling and Counselor Education from Syracuse University. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
Neftali Collazo, currently serves as the College Associate Dean of Athletics and Special Events for the last 6 years, after serving 12 years as the College Director of Special Events and Programs at Suffolk County Community College. Neftali Collazo is an accomplished and integrity driven professional offering over 20 years of success with strong concentration in event management and athletic facility operations. Nef brings with him a comprehensive organizational expertise and attention to detail combined with natural leadership and good humor to create positive, motivated team environments which consistently exceed all expectations.
Neftali Collazo began his athletic career at Stony Brook University where he worked as the Special Events Manager, handling all aspects of athletic, special events coordination and planning for the Stony Brook University Athletic Department. He assisted with facilities and event operations of the Athletic Department for all events that took place in the athletic facilities, this included events held in athletic facilities by non-athletic, on-campus groups and outside organizations. While working in athletics at Stony Brook University he received his Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Languages in May of 2001 and recently graduated with his Master's of Science in Sports Administration from Adelphi University.
Neftali Collazo joined the St. John's University team as Assistant Athletic Director of Operations in September of 2004. In that role he oversaw Division I game day operations for 11 intercollegiate sports including Madison Square Garden home contests and all external events. Some of his other responsibilities included: developing an ongoing leadership training for employee recognition, motivation, and corrective action, tracking and organizing facility projects and new construction. He also organized all applicant data including application processing, interviews and provided information to potential applicants who completed applications for employment. He also developed safety awareness and employment policies handbooks. He was involved in the operations committee for the Big East Swimming and Diving Championship held at Eisenhower Park and the Big East Men's Basketball Championships held at Madison Square Garden.
In 2006, he left the St. John's family and began his new journey with Suffolk County Community College where he has now been for the past 12 years. As the new College Associate Dean of Athletics and Special Events, Neftali Collazo is responsible for the overall management, promotion, and operations of the athletic and special events departments. Some of those responsibilities include the overall management of all athletic fields, pool, two theatres, and convention center. He is also responsible for projects including construction, purchasing, policy formation, booking, marketing, finance, food and beverage, advertising, security, maintenance, and all related operations. In addition, he will be responsible for the College's intercollegiate athletics and intramurals programs.

Carmen Gonzalez serves as the Assistant Vice President for Purchasing and Contract Services at the University at Buffalo, where she oversees procurement operations and contract management to support the institution's academic and institutional goals. Dedicated to fostering collaboration across departments, she emphasizes transparency and sustainability in purchasing decisions. She has a proven track record of optimizing supply chain processes and fostering strategic supplier partnerships.
Prior to joining the University at Buffalo in May 2024, she served in key procurement and supply chain roles at Stony Brook University, Emory University, UPS, Henkel Corporation and Coors Brewing Company, where she successfully drove initiatives that improved business processes and delivered substantial savings.
She is the current Vice-Chair on the National Board of Directors for the National Association for Educational Procurement and Board Member for the East Region for the Chartered Institute for Procurement and Supply. She has her BA degree from Michigan State University and MBA from the University of Denver. Outside of work she enjoys walking, traveling, skiing, and time with family and friends.
Diana Jaramillo Keane is a licensed architect in New York State and serves as the Executive Director of Sustainable Facilities Planning, Design, and Construction at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF), the nation's foremost institution dedicated to environmental studies. In her role, Jaramillo oversees capital improvements ranging from $5,000 to $135 million across ESF’s nine campuses. She is instrumental in advancing the College's commitment to sustainability, energy conservation, and carbon reduction across its Syracuse campus and satellite properties.
An award-winning architect and entrepreneur, Jaramillo founded Kin Studio in 2017 with a mission to deliver equitable and sustainable architecture. Her firm has completed diverse projects across commercial, retail, residential, and community sectors. Prior to joining ESF, she served as a general engineer at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Syracuse.
Born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Jaramillo holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Construction Management from ESF, a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University, and an Associate degree in Architectural Technology from Onondaga Community College. Deeply committed to her local and professional communities, she resides in Syracuse.
Jaramillo's connection to ESF, where she spent time as a child while her mother pursued graduate studies, makes her return as Director of Facilities a full-circle moment. She looks forward to driving the College's ambitious sustainability goals and creating a lasting impact on its future.
Anna Legname is the Associate Director of Academic Advisement at SUNY Oneonta. Anna has extensive experience with student support and has been dedicating her professional life to students’ success, wellbeing, and career goal achievement. She has served students through counseling, career development, and academic advisement.
Anna supervises a team of academic advisors and ensures academic policies and procedures are followed. She provides advisement support to students, faculty, staff and families, and handles escalated student and family concerns as needed. Anna is a passionate advocate for students and approaches her work with empathy, collaboration, and a deep commitment to equity and inclusion. Further, she is a mentor to new professionals hired through the Dragon Corps (URM Staff Pipeline Program).
Anna was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil and immigrated to the United States in 1996. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from SUNY Oneonta and a Master’s of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from University at Buffalo. When not at work, you will find Anna enjoying family time with her daughter Natalia (a senior in College), son Caio (a junior in High School), and husband Michael Hamilton.
Lisandra María Ramos is the Special Assistant to the President, Administration, and Initiatives at SUNY Old Westbury and is adjunct faculty in the School of Professional studies for the DEIJ in the Workplace Microcredential. Lisandra has taking on additional duties as acting Chief Diversity Officer at OW. She has worked in higher Education for well over ten years and served as the Assistant Director of Administration at NYU’s Provostial Institute, the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics (Hemi), forging spaces of creative inquiry and critical practice that enlivened struggles for justice in the Americas. In her role, she led the operations of the Institute along with Hemi’s large-scale, biannual Encuentros, which gathered around 700 participants in different cities throughout the Americas. An alumna of the Lincoln Center Director’s Lab, the Women's Project Director's lab, and the National Association of Latinos Arts & Culture’s Leadership Institute (NALAC), Lisandra has also been an instructor for EMERGEnyc, Cornell University, and NYU to name a few.
In addition to her administrative roles and teaching, Lisandra is an artist. One of the Co-Founders and Co-Directors of Fulana, a Latina video, and satire collective, as well as a director, producer, and writer of numerous plays in New York and Washington DC. Her play "Mariposa" was produced at Aaron Davis Hall in NYC. From short stories to theater and film, in 2020 she co-wrote and co-published her first fiction podcast, "Pawn Chain", a podcast episode included in the series Ochenta Cuentos from Ochenta Studios.
In 2021, she co-curated "Resilience: 2021," a virtual exhibition of West Harlem Arts, an initiative created to promote and support the collaborations between community arts organizations and celebrate the diversity of cultural programming available to the West Harlem community and its surrounding neighborhoods. Lisandra has also been a contributing writer for several magazines, most recently her article "Allyship in Action: Training for the Apocalypse" was featured as part of Global Fluency Magazine.Lisandra currently serves as the Executive Director of the Centro Cívico Cultural Dominicano, the oldest Dominican arts and culture organization in the United States. She holds a B.A. and M.A., an interdisciplinary degree from Union College and NYU’s Gallatin School respectively, in addition to an M.F.A from NYU’s Graduate School of Arts & Science in creative writing.
Dr. Héctor Rodríguez is the Dean of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) at Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) in Troy, NY. He has over 27 years of combined industry and academic experience. Before joining HVCC in January 2022, he was the Technology Manager for Mechanical Components & Systems at GE Research. Dr. Rodríguez’s engineering leadership experience includes Pratt & Whitney as the GTF LPC Structures Manager and Infotech Aerospace Services (now Pratt and Whitney Puerto Rico). At Infotech Aerospace Services, Dr. Rodríguez held positions as Mechanical Analysis Manager, Chief Engineer, and General Manager, where he helped grow the site into a several hundred person aerospace design team. On the academic side, Dr. Rodríguez has held leadership positions as the Department Head of Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico and the Dean of Engineering at Universidad del Turabo (now Universidad Ana G. Méndez). Since 2017, he has been an ABET program evaluator for mechanical engineering and mechanical engineering technology programs. In July 2024, he was appointed Commissioner for ABET's Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission. Dr. Rodríguez received his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico in 1993 and his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1996. He is a licensed professional engineer in the State of New York.
Ms. Martha M. Santana is the Vice President of Business, Finance, and Administration and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at SUNY Old Westbury. In this role, she oversees the financial, strategic, and operational management of key divisions, including Business Affairs (Budget, Financial Aid, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll), Business Operations (Facilities Rentals, Purchasing, Auxiliary Services, and Internal Audit), Information Technology Services, Facilities Management, and Capital Planning. Ms. Santana is committed to enhancing institutional financial health, driving operational efficiency, and fostering a collaborative working environment that aligns with the university's mission.
Before joining SUNY Old Westbury, Ms. Santana gained over 15 years of senior-level experience in finance and administration. She most recently served as Deutsche Bank's Private Equity Global Business Manager, where she oversaw the operations and finances of the bank's private equity division, which had assets under management exceeding $8 billion across five international jurisdictions. Additionally, Ms. Santana held leadership roles as Senior Project Manager for the Shared Services Division of Deutsche Bank Asset Management. She previously served as an associate board member for Teachers Federal Credit Union, underscoring her commitment to financial governance and community impact.
Ms. Santana holds an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and a bachelor's degree from Swarthmore College.
Francisco began his studies at the Institute of New Profession in Caracas, Venezuela, where he earned an associate’s degree in marketing and advertising. During his junior year, he launched his career in the media industry as a Producer Assistant at the renowned Leo Burnett advertising agency.
After gaining valuable skills in video production, he joined HBO Latin America Group as a Media, Development, and Research Producer. For more than six years, he was responsible for researching and analyzing viewer behavior to create and produce new programming. During this time, he also returned to his former school to teach Media Research and Mass Communication.
In 2001, Francisco moved from Venezuela to the United States to enhance his academic qualifications. He was admitted to the Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in television, Radio, and Film, along with a master’s degree in media management. He completed an academic internship at MTV Latino America, where he later worked as a freelance producer, producing live segments such as the MTV Latino America Music Awards and various talk shows.
Following this, Francisco worked for Maryknoll, a global Catholic non-profit organization, as the General Producer and Host of "Voces de Nuestro Mundo," a weekly syndicated Spanish radio show broadcast on sixty-two radio stations nationwide. In addition to producing radio shows and podcast videos, he produced documentary films to highlight Maryknoll's mission work globally.
In 2023, Francisco has been granted tenure and promoted to Associate Professor at the School of Communication at SUNY Oswego. Since then, he teaches courses including Intro to Video Production, Global Documentary, Scriptwriting for Television, and Podcast Production.
He is also the creator and host of the award-winning educational podcast "From Suarez's Basement," where he engages with high-profile experts in communication, media, and the arts.
