Sexual Assault & Violence Response

SUNY’s Sexual Assault & Violence Response (SAVR) website provides information on where to seek resources and support, as well as where to report a crime to law enforcement or to a campus.

Resources are searchable by SUNY campus or by zip-code, and can be filtered by resource type. Information is available in over 100 different languages, including ASL. Another feature worth noting: An ‘Exit Site’ button that allows the visitor to safely leave the website.

Sexual and Interpersonal Violence Prevention & Response Course

SPARC is an online training system to assist colleges and universities in training students in prevention of sexual, interpersonal and related violence. Rather than a static video with one-size-fits-all content, this system allows customization and personalization by institutions so that your students are trained by their fellow students, as well as their faculty, staff and institutional leaders. Thanks to the support of the participating institutions and significant volunteer work by the working group members, SPARC is available to any college or university at no cost.

Visa and Immigration

During a time of trauma and stress, survivors may benefit from a document that is available in their native language. To aid institutions in providing this service, we have translated the document into 120 languages.

Any college or university may customize this document with information and resources specific to its institution, and then have that customized information automatically inserted in translated versions of this guidance.
