The Davis Program promotes the interchange of ideas, enlightens participants about global and local issues, and engages the students in cooperative and productive experiences.
During the sixth year of the program, students implemented diverse projects ranging from the Make a Link project, which developed a language, computer, and carpentry program for new immigrants in Mt. Kisco, to the Bridging the Gap at the Grasslands Homeless Shelter project, which brought the college together with its neighbor in unique and productive ways. This year, we look forward to another exciting program of leadership, scholarship and service. Members of the college community have been invited to participate in seminars on this year’s theme, Global Communication, and to present and lead discussions from their unique perspectives, and the scholars have already begun to plan their service projects for the year.
