SUNY To Sponsor Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Activities Statewide

Albany — The State University of New York will again this year co-host New York's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day observance, Remember! Celebrate! Act!, which will feature SUNY Brockport's Sankofa African Dance and Drum Ensemble.

The observance is OPEN PRESS and will be held as follows:

Time:           10 – 11:30 a.m.
Location:      Empire State Plaza Convention Center
                    Albany, NY

Additionally, SUNY is partnering with the Office of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, Office of General Services, and New York State Commission on National and Community Service to help facilitate and deepen community engagement and volunteerism for SUNY students, faculty, staff, alumni, and retirees across New York, co-hosting multiple volunteer projects that will occur simultaneously in each region across the state.
