Cancellation of Study Abroad for Winter & Spring 2021 and
Announcement of Virtual Global Learning Opportunities

Cancellation of Study Abroad for Winter & Spring 2021
After careful deliberation, the determination has been made that all University sponsored student international travel (study abroad and other student activities) is cancelled for the winter and spring 2021 terms due to the ongoing pandemic. This is a continuation of the current suspension of international study and sponsored travel and is driven by our ongoing commitment to the health and safety of students, faculty and staff.

Generation Study Abroad is an initiative, launched in 2014, of the Institute of International Education (IIE), to mobilize resources and commitments with the goal of doubling and diversifying the number of U.S. students studying abroad by the end of the decade. SUNY is proud to be a commitment partner to Generation Study Abroad with a pledge to expand study abroad opportunities and participation for all students.
