T.H. Occupational Therapist III (SL2)
This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.
As a family, Occupational Therapists work closely with other members of the health care team to devise and carry out specialized treatment programs aimed at enabling patients to return to their normal activities.
- Administers all aspects of patient care in compliance with department policies and procedures;
- recommends other services as indicated and fabricates or provides appropriate devices;
- participates in the department quality control, inventory control and in-service training programs.
- Functions under the general supervision of the Senior Specialist.
Preferred Qualifications:
BS in Occupational Therapy and zero to two years experience; NYS license or license eligible but must pass exam within one year.
