T.H. Clinical Technical Services Audiologist II (SL3)
This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.
Incumbents in positions in this family provide patient care services; bench and classroom instruction as it relates to Audiology.
- Administers full-range of diagnostic audiology procedures including impedance measurements, evoked potential audiometry, speech and language screening examinations.
- May maintain an aural rehabilitation caseload;
- responsible for equipment calibration and maintenance;
- reports preparation and communication with referral sources and treatment agencies.
- Participates in in service departmental and community educational programs and supervision of students.
- Participates in clinical research activities.
Preferred Qualification:
Masters in Audiology, clinical certification in Audiology (or equivalent). NYS license or eligible and completion of an approved post-master's clinical internship required; hospital experience preferred.
