Television Art Director (SL4)

The TELEVISION ART DIRECTOR is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.

• Produces visual materials for educational and instructional television programs, including graphics, photography, seat design, and exhibits;
• supervises student assistants who participate in the graphics work;
• provides art and graphics services for a campus.
• Evaluates completed television materials in relation to needs of client or faculty member.
• Edits copy and script for television materials from work order or discussions with faculty.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in media communications, art or related field. One to three years experience in commercial art production for television.
