Housing Assistant (SL1)

As a family, the housing and residential life series administers and manages all facets of on-campus student housing, including operation of the housing complex and coordination of academic, cultural, and social programs for resident students.
HOUSING ASSISTANT (CY) serves as a professional staff assistant to the Director of Residential Life. Specializes in one or several areas of the student housing program such as supervision of off-campus housing:
- searches for and identifies suitable off-campus housing;
- maintains list of housing available to college personnel;
- acts as liaison between students and potential landlords;
- sometimes performs the personal counseling service that would be provided by residence staff for a student who lived on campus.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree and experience appropriate to the function to be performed..
