Forest Property Technician II (SL1)

This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.

This entry level technical position works under the direct supervision of either the Forest Property Manager I at a smaller property or the Forest Property Technician II at a larger property.

• provides technical support for timber harvesting, timber improvement, forest management planning, forest product marketing in keeping with the instruction research and public service programs on the property;
• gathers data and assists in compiling records and reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

AAS in Forest Technology.
