Director of Outdoor Education (SL6)

This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit This title is in Appendix A of the SUNY Policies of the Board of Trustees and, as a consequence, incumbents serving in this title are not eligible for permanent appointment (tenure), but, instead receive five year renewable term appointments..

• Responsible for the operation of an off campus residential, educational and conference center and for the development of the educational programs and conference bookings at that Center;
• supervises maintenance, personnel and programs;
• develops and administers the Center's budget and purchasing programs
• is responsible for the food service, lodging, and the general safety of participants in the Center's programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree and extensive experience in Outdoor Education.
