Director of Art Gallery (SL4)

This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.

• Responsible for the permanent art collection at a college;
• supervises the operation and maintenance of the art gallery;
• is accountable for the general publicity and public relations as they relate to the gallery;
• seeks art donors to expand the collection and serves as the college's representative in negotiations regarding gifts of art;
• may participate in instructional activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional education and experience in museum or art administration required.
