This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.
Serves as second-in-charge at the more complex SUNY campuses, where appropriate or as the ranking administrator in the records and registration function at a smaller SUNY campus, where appropriate.
As second-in-charge of a large or complex operation assists the College Registrar in every aspect of the responsibilities so designated for the College Registrar; acts as the College Registrar in the College Registrar's absence.
As the ranking administrator of the records and registration function on a smaller campus the Associate College Registrar is responsible proportionally for the full range of duties required of a College Registrar.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree with knowledge of computerization for those acting as second-in-charge; a Master's degree and knowledge of computerization for those acting as ranking administrator.
