Assistant College Registrar (SL3)
This title is in the unclassified service and in the SUNY Professional Services Negotiating Unit.
Serves as second-in-charge, or as one of several assistants to the College Registrar or Associate College Registrar. May have responsibility for one or any of the following areas within the Office of Records and Registration:
- Scheduling a section of courses and classes;
- assigning classroom and other instructional space;
- preparing final exam schedule;
- supervising records data flow and preparing statements of enrollment and attendance;,
- processing student withdrawals and academic dismissals;
- recording grades and grade changes;
- mailing student transcripts;
- posting corrections to student records;
- certifying degree credits resulting from transfer and special examination;
- controlling computer data; and
- reviewing degree applications for fulfillment of degree requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree and experience necessary to perform the requirements of the particular area under his/her supervision.
