Highlighted stories of success

Brockport opened a new pedestrian bridge over the Erie Canal that now connects the SUNY Brockport campus to the north side of the village, providing students and faculty with a safe means of commuting to campus other than single occupancy vehicles.

Binghamton University has completely phased out straws per SUNY policy. Utensils are being switched to non-plastics and campus organizers are encouraged to request reusable options when feasible. Offices completing the Green Office Certification are awarded points for committing to the removal of SUPs from their events.
