Chancellor's Society

In an effort to elevate donors’ support of public higher education in New York, Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher established the Chancellor’s Society in 2013. The Chancellor’s Society recognizes the most impactful private donors to the State University of New York so that education access, completion, and success can be ensured for more New Yorkers than ever before. Composed of individuals, foundations and corporations, the Chancellor’s Society collectively drives the realization of The Power of SUNY by translating and scaling local action into state-wide impact. The Chancellor’s Society inaugurated 580 donors in 2013 and will continue to recognize members on an annual basis.
